WE'RE OPEN!!!
MIAF's opening night 'Sneak Peak Premiere Screening' was a great
success and if the buzz in the cinema (and the bar!) is anything to
go by, this new way of getting the festival open is here to stay. With
a fab selection of films from right across the entire MIAF program,
a chance to meet our special guests, a focus on local animators, a world
premiere and a one-off chance to see the new Disney Goofy short, the
opening night screening had something for everyone. So... we feel open
now! And it's time to get down to the very serious business of watching
as much animation as is physically possible. Enjoy!

task of selecting films for competitive programming, including the international
program series, Australian Panorama and the very special screening for
kids. Entrants will be notified by the end of March 2008.
