Our annual look at SIGGRAPH returns to MIAF 09, but
this time with a twist. This year MIAF was lucky enough to be invited
to sit on the jury for SIGGRAPH Asia. MIAF Director Malcolm Turner
spent a week in Seoul going through the finest digital animation
submitted and from this outstanding vantage point created this comprehensive
double collection of International and Asian highlights, prize winners
and a few overlooked gems which missed the jury concession. These
films showcase the state of CG animating as presented at the motherlode
of all things digital, SIGGRAPH Asia. The campaign to bring SIGGRAPH
Asia to Melbourne is on-going! |
