the rediculous queue for the Tim Burton exhibition at ACMI. But
please do not be deterred!! MIAF has it's very own priority line
on the left hand side of Box Office, and the wait is absolutley
minimal. Just head straight to it, and if you're not sure, ask
one of the staff.

2 JUNE 2010 MIAF10 Trailer by
special guest steven woloshen The Melbourne International Animation Festival's
technique focus this year is Direct to
Film/Scratch Animation, and our special guest Steven
Woloshen (Canada) has been more than amazing by creating our
trailer - all in the name of celebrating 10 big years of MIAF
animation goodness. Oh yeah! Steven will introduce the
technique focus program which he curated with MIAF Director
Malcom Turner. It will showcase historical and contemporary films
by the incredible filmmakers who have over time used this painstaking
method to make uniquely engaging works.
24 MAY 2010 Tickets, programs,
action! That's right... we're uber excited to announce
tickets and passes are now officially on sale... and programs
have hit the streets and are available at our screening venue
Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI).
5 APRIL 2010 MOVING RIGHT ALONG... It's that time folks. With Easter out of
the way, we've pretty much locked in most programming, so details
will be posted real soon.
25 JANUARY 2010 miaf10 entries Submissions for the 2010 festival have now
closed. The deadline for the 2011 festival will be Wednesday 19
January 2011. New application forms are available to download.
