An outstanding year for Australian submissions –
probably the strongest we have seen in the course of five MIAFs.
Australia had another tilt at an Oscar, SBS continued to wear its
love of animation on its sleeve by commissioning a series of fairy
tales, Melbourne and Sydney continue to prove to be popular places
for animators to live and from darkened rooms from Perth to Wagga
Wagga, all manner of wondrous animated gems flew our way. Eclectic
is the only word that will cover this program.
